Our Animal Mints BX 1 is a gorgeous cross of Wedding Cake and Animal Mints F1, with dense green and purple hued buds. The strain has a very unique flavor and aroma, both of which are a mix of fresh floral mint and sweet cookie dough. Animal Mints is terpene rich, with its most dominant terpene being Caryophyllene, which is responsible for the spicy clove element of the aroma. Caryophyllene is being studied as a potential therapeutic agent in the treatment of pain, inflammation, digestive issues, anxiety, depression, gene stress, and addiction. The other dominant terpenes, Myrcene, Limonene, and Humulene, are generally found in almost equal values. Myrcene provides the "skunky" lemongrass notes of the aroma, and is known to be a very sedative terpene. Limonene imparts the citrus elements, and is known to be an uplifting terpene upon inhalation. Humulene is a an earthy, herbal terpene, and many report it has potential to be an appetite suppressant. With multiple terpenes, balancing eachother's aromas and effects, and an average total THC content of 19.8%, Animal Mints can be enjoyed any time of day, without worry of the effects leaning too far in one direction.

Total THC: 19.8 %
