HIGHER GRADE HOLIDAY 2020
FOOD DRIVE

In an effort to give back to our local community, all three Higher Grade locations are
collecting food donations through the end of 2020. We are working with various local
organizations to get food to those members of our community most in need. We ask
that people please donate things from our healthy foods list below. The number of food
items donated, determines the percentage discount off the entire order.
 

1-2 item = 5% off
3-4 item = 10% off
5-9 items = 15% off
10+ items = 20% off
 

*maximum discount is 20% off $100 or $20 off total order
*discount cannot be stacked with other discounts

Suggested Healthy Food Donations

 

Fruits:

  • Canned fruit in light syrup or own juices

  • No sugar added applesauce

  • Dried fruits, raisins

  • 100% fruit juice

  • Low sugar fruit spread, jelly

 

Dairy:

  • Powdered Milk

  • Shelf stable milk, boxed alternative milk

  • Fat free/sugar free pudding

  • “Velveeta” like cheeses

 

Grains:

  • Brown or wild rice

  • Whole grain pasta, noodles

  • Whole grain cereals 

  • Oatmeal

  • Whole grain crackers

  • Graham crackers

  • Low fat cookies

  • Trans fat free tortillas

 

Proteins:

  • Canned tuna, canned chicken

  • Shelf stable meats, shelf stable seafoods

  • Canned or dried beans

  • Canned/boxed broth and soup

  • Nuts

  • Nut butters, peanut butter 
     

Vegetables:

  • No salt added or low sodium canned vegetables

  • Canned tomato products and juices

  • Canned white and sweet potatoes

  • Boxed/ flaked potatoes

  • Canned salsa

  • Shelf Stable pasta sauce

 

Spices:

  • Olive Oil

  • Canola Oil

  • Basil

  • Cinnamon

  • Chili Powder

  • Cloves

  • Dill weed/seed aÌ€ Garlic

  • Ginger

  • Nutmeg
