On January 1st , 2021 Higher Grade is transitioning from a Member Benefits program to a Member Loyalty Rewards program. Current members will be able to receive their member benefits for November and December 2020. As of January 1, 2021, there will be no more ¼ of flower or 2 grams of cured concentrate for $.25 (or any other previously negotiated monthly benefit).

With our new Member Loyalty Rewards program, each dollar you spend equals one reward point. Points never expire or reset, as long as you are a member with us. You may accrue points for as long as you want and redeem them whenever you want. Redeemed points count for money off your total purchase.

Points may not be redeemed as cashback. One loyalty reward point is worth $0.05. Members of our Loyalty rewards program will also receive an automatic 10% discount on most items in our store, with some limitations. Small bud and shake purchases do not accrue points, as they are already heavily discounted items.

Our current member benefits program is not available to people who sign up as a member after
November 31st, 2020.Anyone who signs up for membership on or after December 1st ,2020 will immediately receive the 10% discount and start accruing points with purchases. Current members are able to receive member benefit AND accrue points in the month of December. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this major change.


A Statement About Cookies Drops and Online Ordering

We recognize there were issues with the last Cookies drop and we want to make sure all future drops go smoothly. Higher Grade Downtown Recreational is currently offering online ordering only. Please do not line up outside of our store, on the morning of drops, and expect to be let
inside to shop.

You must place your order online and wait for a call or text from a budtender before coming to the store to pick up. You must already be in our system in order to shop online. Please understand that Fridays are normally very busy, and Cookies drops will make us even busier. Expect longer wait times for order

 Pre-Order Shopping Policy for Higher Grade Dispensaries


Dear Higher Grade customers and patients, 

As we try to adapt to our current reality with COVID-19, we must all make changes to our daily lives. In this spirit, Higher Grade is changing the way we serve cannabis to our community.


We are temporarily suspending walk-in business and moving completely to a pre-order model. This decision was made to protect our staff, our customers, and the community of Denver. We ask for your patience in this transition, especially with our in store personnel, as they are bravely working hard to provide you with cannabis in a very difficult time. Of course major changes like this come with hiccups, however we believe the benefits to our community will outweigh the challenges. If you are having a hard time with these changes, please spare our staff your frustration - we would be glad to hear your feedback at Please do not shop with us if you are sick, have been around anyone who is sick, or if you are choosing not to participate in social distancing. 


Ordering Process


We are working on an e-commerce site that will reflect our live inventory and we hope to have that up and running very soon. As of 9:00 a.m. 3/19/20 we will only be accepting call-ahead phone orders at all three locations. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WALK-INS. When you call, the receptionist will take your phone number and a budtender will call you back in the order your call was received. We will take your order, provide you with a quote and an estimated time of fulfillment, and give you an additional call when it is ready for pickup .Please visit our website or our weedmaps at for our most up to date menu information. If you want to modify your order once you arrive at the store for pickup, you will be asked to come back at a later time for fulfillment. We are sorry but we are not able to take on new Medical patients at this time.


Shopping Protocol


Store activity will be strictly limited to one customer checking in and one customer picking up their order at any given time. Upon arrival at the store, please head to the front desk and check in with the Higher Grade employee. If there is someone currently checking in, please wait outside until you see them exit the check in area. Once it is your turn, we would ask you to have your ID out. Our staff member will add you to the queue, take down your phone number, give you an estimated wait time. We kindly and strongly ask you to practice social distancing when outside waiting. If your expected wait is longer than 10 minutes, we would suggest you return to your car, walk around the neighborhood or find a quiet place to relax until your estimated pick up time. If you are not practicing social distancing on Higher Grade property, you will be asked to comply. What you do outside of our property is your decision, but we ask you to be smart and responsible. 


The ATMs will be available upon check in if needed, but use of the ATMs will slow the process for everyone and create more exposure. Coming prepared with cash is greatly encouraged and appreciated.


Once the current customer completes their transaction and exits the store, the front desk employee will go outside, and inform the next customer that it is their time to pick up their product. 


We will be sanitizing the station and our gloves between each transaction. If you feel the urge to cough or sneeze, please distance yourself as much as possible and cover your face.


Your transaction will be conducted as quickly as possible, ideally 2-3 minutes, to minimize risk to all parties. Please do not ask to add additional products or attempt to change your order when checking out. Please present your ID an additional time and then your payment. Please understand that we are trying to conduct all transactions as quickly as possible. 


We suggest that you double check your order before you head home. We strive for zero mistakes, but can’t guarantee that will happen. If you happen to have a missing or incorrect item, please inform the front desk employee and they will let you know what happens next. 


Particularly at our 38th Ave location, where there is no fully separate waiting room, be aware that we will be checking in new arrivals while transactions occur at the budtending counter. If you are checking in, using the ATM, or exiting the store please be mindful and keep as much space as possible between yourself and any other patrons. 


If you are one of our Medical patients and you are immunocompromised and/or elderly, please email us at and we can set up an appointment for one-on-one pick up. Please only use this request if it’s necessary! We have very limited time slots for these appointments and want to ensure those who need this service are able to get it. We expect this process to evolve as we see what works and what doesn’t, and as we adjust to any future public health requirements. Higher Grade Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) Safety Statement:


In light of the declaration of a global COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking extra precautions to keep our community of customers and staff safe and healthy. Beginning March 3/12/20 we are temporarily disallowing the handling and smelling of our deli-style flower jars by customers and patients and will instead provide a smaller sample of each strain to be observed and smelled, that will be regularly replaced. Because of the therapeutic nature of cannabis, we regularly serve patrons with compromised immune systems and other health issues. In recognizing this, we have asked our staff to be extra vigilant in personal hygiene practices, cleaning and sanitizing our stores, as well as requiring ANYONE displaying ANY signs of illness to stay home from work. We encourage our customers and patients to also regularly
wash their hands and stay at home if not feeling well. If you believe for any reason you may have come in contact with COVID-19 or someone who has been exposed, we kindly ask you to refrain from visiting our stores until sure of your health. If you are diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days of shopping at any of our locations, we ask that you contact the store to inform us. The safety of our entire Higher Grade community is of utmost importance, and we appreciate your participation in our health and wellness efforts.
